CPEE procedures and processes describe how things outlined in policies must be done. CPEE procedures and processes support CPEE policies and are directions or instructions that describe in fuller detail how particular actions should be carried out. They invariably include flowcharts that provide clear direction about sequence

This Procedure applies where a student is unable, because of disability or medical condition, to undertake the same assessment in the same manner as other students. CPEE offers reasonable adjustments to assessment that do not impose unjustifiable hardship on the CPEE.

The processes and systems outlined in this document are intended to support implementation of the student assessment policy. The awarding of CPEE degrees with merit and distinction is based on the following processes and systems;

The purpose of procedure is to ensure that students who are enrolled in CPEE programs meet the requirements for satisfactory progression towards graduation.

This Procedures outlined in this document ensure that CPEE recognises and provides flexible pathways for entry to its Units and Programs. The Procedure also ensures that students who are admitted possess the potential to succeed in their studies. Entry will be granted at the appropriate level with the opportunity for students to progress to the next academic level. The default entry level shall be at the Single Unit level.

This CPEE process provides details on the submitting of assessment items after the due date and the grading of those late item. The process has been developed while recognising that the period specified for Unit Chairs to grade assessment tasks is 10 working days. The process includes:

  • The maximum post-submission date period for submittal.
  • A sliding penalty system for late submission up to the maximum period.
  • Student applications for an extension without penalty up to the maximum period.
  • Delegation to the CPEE Higher Education Officer (HEO) for decisions on granting extensions and waiving of penalties.

This Procedure provides details of the processes for the lodging of student appeals related to academic matters and for the management of those appeals in a manner that is evidence based, non-adversarial and supportive of students.

 

This Procedure ensures that CPEE acts to resolve student complaints and appeals fairly, promptly and efficiently.

Purpose of this procedure is to ensure that students who are admitted to CPEE Units and Programs are appropriately enrolled.

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure the fulfillment of all conditions for the conferral of award.

This Procedure sets the framework for CPEE to handle allegations of student misconduct in a manner that is fair, consistent, clear, prompt and efficient. The Procedure is applied in accordance with the principles of natural justice.

The Procedure is applied where there are breaches of the CPEE Code of Student Conduct, which provides details on Academic and General Misconduct.

This Procedures provides details of the processes for the lodging of student appeals related to non-academic matters and for the management of those appeals in a manner that is confidential, evidence based, non-adversarial and supportive of students.
