PR036: Procedure for Special Consideration

This Procedure applies where a student believes their performance has been adversely affected when undertaking a semester assessment item or examination due to illness or other special circumstances. This Procedure helps to ensure that enrolled students who have an illness or other special circumstance may be granted special consideration that will enable them to complete assessment(s) that will provide them with the opportunity to demonstrate those fundamental skills, capabilities and knowledge, which allow them to achieve the essential learning outcomes of a CPEE assessment task, Unit and Program, while maintaining academic integrity. The following applies to students with a short term illness or special circumstances. This Procedure does not apply in the case of disability or medical condition that is chronic or long term.
