Graduation is a milestone that not only marks the end of your degree but a furthering of your knowledge in your chosen subject matter.
The Graduation Process
When you enrol for your final Unit you you will see a question on the enrolment form asking if it is your final unit. There is a link to a Graduation Form which asks for a few basic details. This is to ensure that we have your correct details in our system when it comes time to process your graduation documents.
Your graduation form can be submitted at this point or at a later date, but will need to be received several weeks prior to the end of your final semester with CPEE.
This leaves enough time for our Council board to approve the list of graduands for the semester and confer their awards. Once this occurs, the graduation documents are generated, checked and printed, sent for signing and finally posted to you.

CPEE graduates students twice a year. Students from Semester One are graduated in the same year in August/September. Students from Semester Two are graduated the following year in March/April.
An annual online graduation ceremony will be held in either March or April to include all graduands from the previous calendar year.
- A student may elect to have their Award presented at the graduation ceremony.
- Graduates will be presented with their official documentation at the graduation ceremony or via mail if the Award is presented in absentia or virtually.
- Posthumous Awards may be made at a graduation ceremony to a family member present, or in absentia.
- CPEE Council reserves the right to revoke an Award that has been incorrectly or mistakenly conferred, or achieved conferral by academic misconduct or dishonest means.
- A Testamur will not be issued to a student with a debt to the CPEE.
When you successfully graduate, you'll receive the following hardcopy documents printed on security paper:
- Award Certificate (Testamur)
- Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
Your graduation documents will be express posted to you after the CPEE Council confers your award.
You may find that we ask once more for your preferred mailing address before sending them. These are precious documents and we don't want them to get lost in the post!
