Continual Improvement - Our Programs in 2017
If you have been looking on the CPEE website recently you may have noticed that a number of our distance learning unit titles are changing for 2017. In addition to the new titles a number of units have undergone content review which has resulted in some subject matter being moved/revised to further improve the learning outcomes of the program.
For existing students currently studying with CPEE, depending on the program of study, the following changes should be noted.
As part of the CPEE's academic quality systems the overall content of CPEE Units and Programs has undergone a comprehensive review. The outcome, based on sound teaching and learning practice advice, is that there will be a reorganisation of material across Units to provide even better structured Programs for improved student learning outcomes.

Changes to Unit titles 2017
If you have looked on the CPEE website for the unit availability for 2017 you will have noticed that a number of CPEE unit titles in 2017 are changing. These changes are an outcome of a comprehensive review that CPEE conducted in 2016 to further improve its student learning outcomes based on sound teaching and learning practice advice. If you are an existing student depending on your program of study the following changes should be noted as these changes may affect the program you are currently studying.
CPEE Private Provider Program Students
- Graduate Certificate in Pavement Technology
- Master of Pavement Technology
How does this change affect me?
- Units you study from Semester 1 2017 will reflect the new unit titles
- The units of study you have currently completed will remain valid and the title of those units will remain as they are now on all future statements of results.
- There is no change to your existing program requirements

CPEE's units of study have been developed taking inputs from industry, government, research bodies and the private sector to form a package of study that delivers desired outcomes for both student and employer, nationally and internationally. Our units draw on the latest Australian and international standards, technical and research developments along with practical 'real world experience' to provide life long learning and outcomes. CPEE offers these technical units as part of its postgraduate award programs or as single units of study:

2017 CPEE Program Refresh
In Semester 1 2017 a number of CPEE units are changing having undergone content review, resulting in some subject matter being moved/revised to further improve the learning outcomes of the program. A revised 2017 program structure for the CPEE Master of Pavement Technology and Graduate Certificate in Pavement Technology will see these improvements implemented across the program. Existing students will continue their studies under their existing program structure.
The new program structures include an additional core unit becoming a requirement for both the Master of Pavement Technology and Graduate Certificate in Pavement Technology programs. Further refinement of the elective units has taken place with the revised program structure further enhancing the program learning outcomes.
