CPEE Honours Two for Extensive Service

At the CPEE 20-year celebratory reception in December, two key individuals were formally recognised for their efforts in the establishment of CPEE and its development from the earliest days. Prof. Kerry McManus, AM, and Mr Walter Holtrop were applauded for the critical roles they have played. Prof. Kerry McManus (image left), was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the academic expertise and credibility he provided from the outset which greatly assisted CPEE gaining formal accreditation as a registered higher education provider.

As the CPEE Academic Board Chairman since 1996, Kerry played a hugely significant role in CPEE acceptance and ongoing standing as a highly regarded specialist provider of post graduate programs for the roads and pavements sector.

Walter Holtrop (image left), was presented with a 20 years’ Service Certificate for his extremely valuable contributions as a Unit Writer, Reviewer, Unit Chairman and Academic Board member. His promotional efforts of CPEE throughout were noted as a significant additional contribution, and fittingly, he has been the first to be awarded a 20-year Service Certificate.
